The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has called on Nigerian children and youths to showcase their ideas, creativity, and innovative thinking through the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Literary Competition 2025/2026.
The competition commenced on 21 November 2025 and will close on 28 February 2026. All entries are to be submitted online through dedicated submission portals.
This edition was initiated at the behest of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, as part of efforts to encourage intellectual engagement and youth participation in national development.
Theme for the 2025/2026 CAS Literary Competition
The competition is anchored on the theme:
“Optimising Emerging Technologies for Enhanced Air Operations”
Participants are required to align their submissions with the NAF Day 2026 theme, as specified under each competition category. Entries that fail to reflect this focus may be disqualified.
Who Can Apply? (Age Categories)
The competition is open to Nigerian children and youths across the following age groups:

Primary Schools: 5–11 years

Secondary Schools: 12–17 years

Tertiary Institutions: 18–24 years
Applicants must apply under the correct category and age bracket to be considered eligible.
