The Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (KNSUBEB) has officially released the list of candidates shortlisted for the Kano SUBEB 2026 Recruitment 2026 Teacher Recruitment Aptitude Test. This development marks a significant step in the ongoing recruitment exercise aimed at strengthening basic education delivery across the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State.
The recruitment initiative is part of the state government’s commitment to improving teaching quality, addressing teacher shortages, and enhancing learning outcomes in public primary and junior secondary schools.
How to Check the Kano SUBEB Shortlist
All applicants who participated in the teacher recruitment registration exercise are advised to visit their respective Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) offices to check the shortlisted candidates’ list or Here
According to KNSUBEB, the list has been displayed on LGEA notice boards and became accessible from Thursday, 1st January 2026, by 11:00 a.m.
Only candidates whose names appear on the official shortlist will be eligible to participate in the aptitude test.
Important Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates
Shortlisted applicants are required to:
- Carefully confirm their names on the list
- Report to the Staff Officer’s Office at their respective LGEA headquarters
