Sokoto State Releases First Batch of Successful Candidates for 2025 Recruitment

The Sokoto State Government has officially published the first list of successful applicants under its ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise, marking a major step in the state’s drive to strengthen public service capacity and reduce unemployment.

The announcement was made by the State Recruitment Committee established by the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, PhD, FCNA. According to the committee, 1,000 applicants emerged successful in this initial phase after meeting all eligibility and screening requirements.

This recruitment exercise aligns with the administration’s commitment to transparency, merit-based selection, and inclusive governance. Authorities emphasized that the process was conducted fairly and in line with approved public service standards.

What Successful Candidates Should Do

Applicants whose names appear on the list are required to log in to the official recruitment portal used during application to print their selection notification slip. This document serves as official proof of success and will be required for the next stage of the recruitment process.

Shortlisted candidates are further directed to report to the Office of the State Head of Service, Usman Faruku Secretariat, with the following documents:

  • Printed notification slip

  • Original academic and professional credentials

These documents will be verified before the issuance of formal appointment letters.

Only candidates listed in this first batch are considered successful at this stage. However, applicants who were not selected are encouraged to remain patient, as additional batches may be released in subsequent phases of the recruitment exercise.
